A post graduate in management (MBA) from the Bharathiar University of Coimbatore Sapna holds a degree in hotel management, but dance has been her first love ever since she was eight.
Moulded in the strict discipline and austere commitment and trained under reputed gurus Kalamandalam Saraswati, Kalamandalam vinodhini stringent and meticulous supervision in Kuchipudi, Bharatanatyam and Mohinyattam, in her younger age.
Her expansion of expression and ceaseless endeavour for classicism brought her to the renowned kuchipudi dancer Guru Vyjayanti kashi. Her continous training under Guru Vyjayanti Kashi gave her the artistic foundation in Kuchipudi that nourished her into the exquisite artiste she is.
With over a decade of performing experience, Sapna has performed in several national and international festivals. Since childhood, she has been receiving rave reviews for her performances and received many awards and recognitions
